My little Parisian in a Shanghainese Bakery

Ops we did it again! Yes, discovering and tasting all the bakeries in Shanghai is one of our favorite hobbies! After taking you to Farine (click here) and Green & Safe (click here), today we are going to bring you to Baker & Spice. One of the first bakeries in Shanghai, recently renovated and expanded, it’s one of our favorite week end breakfast spots in the old French Concession. Located on Anfu Lu, a vibrant small street full of restaurants, trendy boutiques and furniture’s shops, it has big shared wooden tables inside and outdoor, my favorite white tiles on the walls and see-through counter filled with the most delicious goodies (and yes Pan-au-Chocolate is till our favorite). No worries if you are cashless like me all the time, just carry your phone and pay with WeChat (a million times most advanced version of WhatsApp) or Alipay.

For this breakfast at Baker & Spice, Olivia’s outfit could not be more appropriate, as she reminds me a Little Parisien in a French bakery. Her “Parisien” sweatshirt is from Lublue shop, a UK based online shop, with worldwide shipping. I love their brand selection, which includes some of my favorite Korean brands. Usually I am not loving mom-daughter matchy outfits, but how can you say no to matching (Pale Gold and Silver) Anniel Soft Shoes? You can buy all our outfit in below “Shop the Look” section.

I am also happy to announce that for this post I have team up with Lublue for a 100GBP GIVEAWAY. All you have to do to be entitled to win is

– like my post on Instagram today

– like the same post on @_lublue_

– follow @_lublue_ and @thepinkdumpling on Instagram

Winner will be announced next Monday May 1 on this post, and contacted by @_lublue_ to receive the prize.

Good Luck, Paola xxx
