Yogalicious & Redtown

We always love to discover new cozy places on the week end. Last Saturday we discovered Yogalicious, part yoga studio and part healthy snack joint, originally started as a pop-up, but still sticking around. Located on a rooftop, in one of our favorite lanes of the French Concession (378 Ferguson Lane), Yogalicious offers healthy meals like acai bowls, thick smoothies, topped with nuts, seeds, and berries, oatmeal porridge. The owner, Angie, also teaches yoga on the rooftop. This is actually one of the nicer rooftops in the city — you could come for the view alone.

As we also love art and old industrial areas, after a healthy breakfast, we made a detour after lunch to Red Town, a creative space converted from former steel factory, and now home to several art galleries. The creative spaces surround a grassy green area, where kids can run around while parents can enjoy coffee or lunch in one of the several cafes.
